Speaker Places His Signature on LG Election Amendment Bill
The Speaker’s Office announced that the Speaker Karu Jeyasuriya will pace his signature on the Local Government Election Amendment bill passed in Parliament on 31st August 2017.
On signing the bill by the Speaker , it becomes the law (Act of Parliament ) and enable the Election Commission to announce the date for LG election.
