Two Arrested for Printing & Possessing Fake Currency Notes.

An individual was originally arrested from a house at Miththeniya for keeping 245 notes of Rs 1000 denomination and 41 notes of Rs 5,000 denomination in his custody. On police investigation , he disclosed the source of getting the notes. Followed by the disclosure, police raided a printing press where these fake notes were printed. The owner of the press too was arrested and produced before the Valassmulla Magistrate Court.

Further investigations are carried out by Miththeniya police.
