September 20th to 26th Declared Dengue Eradication Week

The Ministry of Health has decided to strictly implement mosquito eradication programmes, citing a possible rise in dengue cases due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.

The Ministry further said previously there were around 10,000 cases of dengue reported weekly. Accordingly the Ministry has decided to declare a dengue eradication week from the 20th to the 26th of September across the island.
