Rosy Senanayake Refutes Charges

The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Rosy Senanayake has refuted claims against her and her son Kanishka Senanayake  in connection with the Treasury bond issue, claiming they are baseless.

Issuing a statement Rosy Senanayake said she did not release information to outside parties during her term with the Committee on Public Enterprise.

The statement claimed that despite her sons name appearing in the Treasury bond controversy the claims have not been independently verified.

He further stated that she will take legal action against any party that levels baseless allegations against her and her son.
