20th Amendment Debate on 20th September

Local Government amendment bill in connection with the election is expected to be debated in Parliament on 20^th September 2017, provided Supreme Court determination on the bill is received by the Speaker before 20^th September.

Already cabinet approval has been obtained for the bill and scheduled in the Parliamentary agenda, Government sources confirmed.
