Eastern Provincial Council Approved 20th Amendment

The Eastern Provincial Council met today  to debate proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution.  When votes were called while 25 voted for it 8 voted against it,  thus passing  the 20th Amendment comfortably .

While 20th Amendment  were defeated in other Provincial Councils, Government was successful  in getting it passed in the Eastern Provincial Council.
