1000 Buddhist Monks Flocks Together To Pay Sil Cloth  Money Rs 50 million

Professor Medagoda Abeyatissa Thera has revealed to the press that 1000 Buddhist Monks  have come forward to collect  and pay  Sil cloth money Rs 50 million  imposed on  former Secretary , Lalith Weeratunga and  former Director General of Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Srilanka Ausha Palpitta by the Colombo High Court.

For this purpose 1000 Buddhist Monks will converge at 7.30 hours on 15th at Sambudhaloka Vihara to  perform rites before commencing  collection process.

This will be followed by Buddhist Monks all over the island on the 16^th and 17^th September. Total money collected will be handed over to relevant authorities on the 18^th in  Colombo, he concluded.
