Felicitating  Srilankan Film Directors

Veteran   film  Directors, who have contributed a lot towards Sinhala cinema  in Srilanka are to be felicitated and honoured in a ceremony to be held on 18^th September at the Department of Information.

Veteran  popular film directors  including Lester James Pieris will be felicitated and honoured with awards .

 In the same event , award winning documentary films  produced by the state film unit, which was converted  in to digital form will be handed over to   Department of National Archives  and uploading protected documentary films will also be taken place.

 Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna and Deputy Minister of Finance and Media  Lasantha Alagiyawansa will  grace this occasion.
