High Court Verdict on Sil Cloth Made them to Stay in SLFP………….

The SLFP Minsters and  MPs, who had publicly said previously that there was no point in staying in the government have their second thought and said, they have no intention of leave  ng the government and promised their full of support to Maithreepala Sirisena to develop the Party after the sil cloth verdict was given by the court.

A case in point is Minister Susil Premajayantha has told Maithreepala Sirisena that he has no idea of leaving the government and promised his fullest support to him. Some of them are preparing to make statements on behalf of the government in the near future. They may resort to criticise the JO.

Meanwhile, rulings in court proceedings against several others, prominently against former sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage for fraud and corruption are due.

High Court verdict appears to have strengthened the hands of Maithreepala Sirisena in the SLFP.
