CEB Employees Strike Continues
The CEB employees launched strike as from Tuesday (12) demanding to resolve their salary anomalies and asking the authorities to investigate an alleged fraud relating to the payment of salaries to the top administrative officers of the CEB.
As no solutions have been still given for their demands, they are forced to continue the strike for the 4th day today said, The Secretary of the Lanka Viduli Sewaka Sangamaya, Ranjan Jayalal.
In the meantime, Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that the strike was unsuccessful and condemned the union for withdrawing the CEB technicians attached to the National Hospital, Colombo.
