Fairly strong gusty winds can be expected over the country (particularly in the Central hills of the island, Northern, North-central and Eastern provinces, and in the Hambanthota district).

Light showers will occur in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
