Visa Refused to Buddhist Monks of Myanmar

Buddhist  monks of Myanmar  reported to have attempted  to enter Srilanka through BIA .

Issuing tourist visa  to Myanmar citizens was temporarily suspended  with the intention of preventing Rohingya Muslims entering Srilanka as refugees .

It is relevant to mention that visas are  being issued only to Myanmar diplomats  after careful scrutiny.
