Gnanasara Thero Loves Average Muslims

In a press conference called yesterday,  General Secretary of the BBS Gnanasara Thero said,  he is against killings and using violence to find solution for problem. When question was raised regarding   Rohingya refugees he said, that the Myanmar Government responded  only to the activities of Rohingya Muslims. What is happening to Buddhist there is not  conveyed  to the outside world,  because there is no media for them , Ven.Virathu Thera claimed . We are not going to allow Rohingya refugees in Srilanka . As Srilanka has signed various agreements with UN, we may be compelled to accept them temporarily at the request of UN .

When Mijibur Rahumans continued to complain to foreign missions in Srilanka that Muslims  find it difficult  to live in Srilanka  due to problems created, how can we accept Rohingy refugees in Srilanka? he asked.

When questioned about collecting funds  to rescue people,  who were punished by the Courts of Srilanka,  he said it is a disgrace  to Buddhist monks and Buddhism . He doesn’t approve it at all. Those who have  gone on Pada yathtra  between Kandy and Colombo and those,  who gathered  at Galle face for Mahinda Rajapaksa can pay this fine, he questioned .
