Three Hour Disruption of Dialog Phones Disrupted Business in SL

Dialog customers in Srilanka experienced 3-hour interruption of service yesterday (20).  Billions worth of business conversations said to have lost due to this disruption . Customer service and administrative executives of the  Dialog confirmed that all connections throughout the island were affected.
 The Dialog has not immediately apologized  to its’ customers for the disruption.
The National Movement for Consumer Right’s Protection (NMCRP) , Ranjith Vithanage wrote  a letter to the CEO of Dialog AXIATA Supun Weerasinghe, expressing their displeasure over the manner in which Dialog handled the disruption.
NMCRP condemned the subsequent belated  steps taken by Dialog to inform and compensate their vast customer base. It was reported that the NMRCP will seek legal action against Dialog for the improper handling of their consumers.
