Pressure Exerted on  Civil  Society  in Srilanka

United Nations  Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Andrew Gilmour said, that Civil society people in Srilanka are being monitored, suppressed  and depressed . Those who raise their voice against  injustices in Srilanka should be protected . Hence, he expressed his hope UNHRC  head  will give attention to this in future.
