Weather Forecast For 25th September 2017
A slight enhancement of rainy conditionin the south-western part of the country is expected during today and tomorrow (25th and 26th September).
Fairly strong gusty winds can be expected over the country and surrounding sea areas during next few days and particularlyover the Uva and North- western provinces and in Hambantota, Ampara, Matale, Anuradhapura and Mannar districts today.
Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces. Fairly heavy falls (about 50-75mm) also expected at some places particularly in Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces and in Kaluthara district.
Several spells of showers may occur in the North-western province and in Mannar and Jaffna districts.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
