Special Report on Expressways to Parliament by Sunil Handunnetti

Chairman of the COPE Sunil Handunnetti said, that  the COPE investigations into the construction work of the expressways disclosed deviation were made outside the scope of the project . A  glaring example is construction work of Matara to Hambantota stretch of the Southern Expressway.

Once the  preliminary investigations are finalized, a special report will be presented to Parliament immediately said Sunil Handunnetti.
