President Ordered to Stop Unnecessary & Unhealthy Imports

President Maithripala Sirisena  while attending the opening ceremony of an agricultural exhibition in Kalutara said, that steps will be taken through National Economic Council  to control the import of all unnecessary and unhealthy food items into the country.

In this connection the National Economic Council will create an implementation program to minimize unnecessary imports that are detrimental to the health of the people.
