GMOA threatens unannounced strike if bogus solution given to SAITM issue

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) threatened to launch an indefinite strike without prior notice,  if the authorities provide a false solution to the issue regarding the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) and fail to provide a permanent solution.

The GMOA demands closure of  the SAITM, which is also known as private medical college.

The Secretary said the decisions were taken unanimously at an emergency meeting of the GMOA’s central committee held on Friday (29).
