Steps taken by the State to sell coconut at Rs 70 from Tomorrow (2)

As the price of coconut in the market shot up to Rs100 per nut, Government was compelled to address this issue.Hence, Miniustry of plantation decided to collect coconuts from State coconut plantation and sell it at controlled Rs 70 to the public.

Accordingly it  has taken steps to make available coconuts at Rs70 to  the public as from Monday (2).

 Ministry announced public could purchase coconuts from CWE outlets as well as  from  mobile coconut selling lorry service that will be on islanwide service.
