CID Investigation on CB Bond Issue Commences

When the  Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the controversial bond issue recommenced sittings today (02), former Central bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran has been testified before the Commission from this morning.

During the session Deputy Solicitor General, Dappula de Livera informed the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the controversial bond issuance that the Criminal Investigation Department has launched a criminal investigation into Treasury bond issuances.
