On 4th of July while High Court Judge, Manickavasagar Ilancheliyan was escorted in Nallur, a person pulled out the gun from the police officer and fired at him killing instantly. The suspect taken into custody and was in remand .
When the case was taken up before the Jaffna Magistrate yesterday (02), he was produced before the Magistrate and further remanded until 16th October.
