Weather Forecast For 5th October 2017

Possibility for afternoon thundershowers is getting increase in next few days.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the most provinces of the island.

Fairly heavy showers (about 75-100mm) can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Badulla, Batticaloa and Ampara districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
