SLBC Chairman to Act as Director General of Dept. of Information

On recommendation made by the Minister of Finance and  Information Mangala Samaraweera, the Cabinet at its’ meeting held yesterday (10) approved the appointment of Sudharshana Gunawardena, current Chairman
of the SLBC to act as the Director General of the Department of Information.

It is relevant to mention that he has been appointed to the vacant post created by resignation of Kalan Jeyasooriya, former Director General.
