Shalila Moonasing to be Removed From Litro Gas Chairman Post

Shalila Moonasinghe,Chairman of Litro Gas was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on October 9, for his involvement in transferring USD 1.1 million into his personal account in Srilanka from Far Eastern International Bank of Taiwan. When he was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday (10), he was remanded till today.

In the meantime,the Public Enterprise Development Ministry has instructed to remove Shalila Moonasinghe from the Chairman post of the Litro Gas company due to the ongoing investigations.
