Weather Forecast For 14th October 2017

Prevailing showery and cloudy conditions are expected to continue further and fairly strong winds can be expected over the island and surrounding sea areas during next few days.

Showers or thundershowers at times are expected in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts (Particularly in Central hills).

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere (Particularly after 2.00p.m).

Heavy falls (about 100-150 mm) can be expected at some places (Particularly in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kaluthara, Galle and Mathara districts).

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
