Opening of an International Standard Prison in Srilanka Today

A prison of an international standard called “Supper Prison” is being opened today at Angunakolapelass, Hambantota. This prison can comfortably accommodate 1,500 prisoners. Visitors such as friends, relatives of prisoners can relax there and see their inmates without any hassle but enjoying comforts. Minister of Rehabilitation and prison reform, D,M.Swaminathan, Minister of Justice, Dalatha Athukorale are participating in the opening.
