Bond Commission Concludes Recording of Evidence Today
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had recently stated that he is prepared to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry for any clarifications that are to be made. This statement was made in response following the mention of his name by persons produced before the Bond Commission.
The President of the Commission sated that the Prime Minister will be summoned before the commission should the need arise for him to submit evidence.
However, the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate the Central Bank Bond scandal will formally conclude the recording of evidence of witnesses today (17).
