Delimitation Commission’s Time Period Extended
Delimitation Commission has decided to receive feedback and proposals on the establishment of electorate divisions for members who will be appointed for Provincial Councils under administrative Districts.
Accordingly, these proposals are to be obtained to select 50% appropriate number of members to be eligible for Provincial Councils under the respective Administrative District.
The Secretary of Delimitation Commission Saman Sri Rathnayaka said, that the time period to send feedback and proposals was extended until 2nd November and letters and documents regarding to the proposals should be handed over in written format.
