Taiwan’s Far Eastern Bank Issue:  Another Suspect Surrenders

Another suspect resident of Rajagiriya has surrendered to the Criminal Investigation Department last night  along with Rs 3.2 million claiming he was involved in the transfer of 320 million rupees from a hacked at Taiwan’s Far Eastern Bank, Police said.

In the meantime, the former Chairman of Litro Gas Company Shalila Moonesinghe and another suspect M.C Nammuni previously charged in the case are currently in remand custody.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered the duo to be remanded until the 25th of October.
