Sagla Committed to Turn Srilanka a Save Heaven for Women Wearing Jewellery To Walk Freely

Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayaka, while addressing the Annual General meeting of the Sri Lanka Retailers Association in Colombo said, he was Committed to Turn Srilanka a Save Place for Women Wearing Jewellery to Walk Freely in Srilanka streets like in the golden days of the country’ s history.

The Police Department and I are working systematically to eradicate the drugs and organized crime menace from the society. We will also focus on white collar and minor crimes. Sri Lankan Police would be given equipment that is not second to other high- performing Police forces across the world. We have increased police salaries and we are working on improving their living and working conditions. We will hire only the qualified and train them intensively, the Minister concluded.
