Arrogant School Administration Removed a Student on False Allegation of She being Pregnant?

In one of the schools in Madadugama area coming under the purview of Kekirawa educational Zone, School administration removed a poor girl student from the school supposedly alleged by the disciplinary committee of the school that she was pregnant.

A few days back, when she took her breakfast she vomited. Witnessing this incident her three classmates have informed the principal that she was pregnant. The principal in turn discussed this matter with the school disciplinary committee, called the parents and informed that she was removed from the school on the grounds that she was pregnant and gave them the school leaving certificate. All these things happened despite her repeated denial that no such thing happened.

Poor parents took her to the hospital and examined her by a Gynecologist and a Judicial Medical Officer. Both of them confirmed that neither she had been molested / raped or pregnant. Accordingly they informed the Woman and Child Affairs Bureau.

Poor parents said that they were forced to borrow money on loan basis to get this test done for nothing.
