Vehicular Movement Along the Road From Borella to Battaramulla Will Be Restricted from Today

Sri Lanka Police announced that Vehicular movement along the road from Borella to Battaramulla will be restricted from today until Monday ( 23), due to construction work on the Welikada flyover, Police said.

Vehicle movement is to be limited on the road stretch from Welikada Junction, where the flyover begins, to the Parliament Road in Battaramulla.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the Kota Road towards Battaramulla through Buthgamuwa Road avoiding the bridge.

In the meantime,  traffic entering and exiting Colombo from Welikada Junction will be limited to two lanes
