Weather Forecast For 22nd October 2017

Inter-monsoon conditions are expected to establish gradually over the country during next few days.
Fairly strong winds at times can be expected over the Northern, North-central provinces and Hambantota, Monaragala districts.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in the Jaffna, Mannar, Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 pm.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
