Weather Forecast For 23rd October 2017

Inter-monsoon conditions are getting establish over the island gradually.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.

Showers may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and North-western provinces and in the Jaffna and Mannar districts in the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (about 50-75 mm) can be expected at some places in the Uva and Eastern provinces.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
