Yala National Park Reopen Today.

The Yala National Park,  which was closed due to the drought will reopen to the public today (23).

The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife Conservation said, that  the Yala National Park reopens under the Prime Minister’s approval.

However in order to minimize the inconvenience caused to wild animals the Ministry has taken measures to restrict the number of vehicles entering the Park.

Accordingly,  the Ministry announced only 100 vehicles from the Palatupana entrance and 50 vehicles from the Katugama entrance will be allowed to enter to the Park daily.
