Security Threat to Joint Opposition?

Member of Parliament Dinesh Gunawardena said, that the government has provided security to Anika , who gave evidence before the Central Bank Bond Commission .

But Joint Opposition members are the very same people who fought for the Presidential Commission on central bank bond scam right from the beginning.

Hence, government should consider strengthening security of the Joint Opposition. Observers say that Anika was given security after she being threatened for giving adverse evidence against powerful people in the government and only after security assessment made. But there is no threat reported by Joint opposition to date.
