Appointment of a New Foreign State Ministry Secretary Grace Asirwatham

Grace Asirwatham, who has served as Ambassador to the Netherlands and Nepal and accredited to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Netherlands as Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka was appointed  as the Secretary  to the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She assumed duties on 24th October. To her credit she also served as an international civil servant in The Hague, Netherlands in the capacity of Deputy Director General of the OPCW, for four years.
