National Epidemiology Centre Opened For Public

The Saudi Arabia funded the Development of the National Epidemiology Centre by donating Rs.4.5 billion to the project.  The 10-story building has been equipped with state of the art technology. You find dedicated Neurology clinic, Neuro pharmacy, mobile radiology clinic, medical education and public information station also has a viewing gallery for patients and family members along with a conference hall.

Further the Epidemiology centre has the capacity to host 100 patients within its wards. President Maithripala opened the National Epidemiology Centre at the Colombo General hospital following a short ceremony within hospital premises.
