Promotion to  Retiring Navy Commander

Sri Lanka Navy commander Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah has been retiring  from service as from today .  Vice Admiral Sinniah had joined the Sri Lanka Navy in 1982 as an Officer Cadet of the 11th intake and  elevated  to the  post of Navy Commander  recently. Admiral Travis Sinniah will retire from his naval service as from today (26).

On the verge of his retirement, he has been given promotion to the rank of Admiral  effective from yesterday, Navy sources said.
