Fisheries Ministry Request Finance Ministry to Stop Fish Import

Following a harvest  of around 120,000 tones due to the prevailing weather that suits fishing price of  fish have declined. Hence a  request has been made  by the Ministry  of Fisheries to the Ministry of Finance to halt the importation  of fish varieties , except sailfish and Koppera which are not caught locally.
