SLFP & SLPP Meetings Targeting LG Elections

The SLFP has arranged a meeting at temple trees on 3 rd November under the leadership of its’ leader, President Maithripala Sirisena to discuss issues surrounding the upcoming Local Government elections. All current members of the SLFP including Mahinda Rajapakshe were invited for this meeting.

On the other hand, a special meeting of the Joint Opposition that will be headed by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be held on October 29.  The meeting is called to decide whether the SLFP members of the Joint Opposition to attend or not to attend the special SLFP party meeting that will be held on November 3.
