Weather Forecast For 28th October 2017
Prevailing showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent during next few days (after 29th October).
Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.
Showers may occur in the Northern province and in Puttalam districtin the morning too.
Heavy falls (about 100 mm) can be expected at some places (particularly in the Central, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Vauniya district).
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces during the morning.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
