Weather Forecast For 29th October 2017

Due to the low level atmospheric disturbance which is forming in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, prevailing showery condition is expected to enhance during next few days (from today).
Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces of the island after 2.00 p.m.
Showers may occur in the Northern and Eastern provinces in the morning too.

Heavy falls (above 100 mm) can be expected at some places (particularly in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Northern provinces and in the Ampara and Hambanthota districts).

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces during the morning.

 There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
