Weather Forecast For 30th October 2017

Due to the low level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, cloudy andshowery weather is expected over most parts of the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces of the island after 2.00 p.m.

Showers may occur in the coastal areas around the island in the morning too.

Heavy falls (about 150mm) can be expected at some places in Uva province and Heavy falls (above 100 mm) can be expected at some places (particularly in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Central and Northern provinces).

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
