Gazette Notification on Local Government Elections Signed

The gazette notification  in connection with the Local Government elections  has been signed by Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Mustapha at 11.00am today (1).

Minister Faiszer Mustapha  said,  that some of the mutilated clauses in the gazette notification regarding the LG election are being changed upon instructions of the Attorney General.

The Local Government election would be held on January next year, as previously planned, he concluded.
