A Couple Arrested With Fake Currency Notes

A married couple aged 26 and 19  was arrested in Ariyalai, Jaffna with worth Rs. 2.06 million fake currency notes.

400 forged Rs. 5,000 notes and 168 fake Rs. 1,000 currency notes have been recovered from them.

Further investigations are carried out by police.
