Anti-SAITM Protest Forced Closure of One Lane at Ward Place

The Medical Faculty Students’ Parents Association is staging a fast unto death, demanding the closure of the private medical college, in front of the dental hospital in Colombo as from yesterday .

A large number of university students and parents have gathered near the location , where they staged fast unto death . Hence, severe traffic congestion has been reported at Ward Place in Colombo 7.

One lane from Town Hall towards Borella has been temporarily closed for traffic at Ward Place due to this  ongoing anti-SAITM protest.
