Rajitha Fly to Abu Dhabi
Minister of Health, Nutrition Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senaratne is to leave for the Global Health Summit, which is held in Abu Dhabi from 15th November . A team of officials headed by Minister Rajitha Senaratne will participate in the Summit representing Sri Lanka.
“Mobilizing Together to Eliminate Infectious Diseases” is this year’s theme of the summit organized by the Bill Gates Foundation, Carter Centre and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The summit will focus on sharing insights and best practice on how to map out, eliminate, and eradicate infectious diseases, especially Malaria.
A special lecture will be delivered by the Minister Rajitha Senaratne at the summit on Malaria eradication from Sri Lanka and the Minister will share the State’s commitment, the results of malaria eradication, at the Summit.
