Protest Against Minister Kabir Hashim

The Kandy-Colombo main has been obstructed at Ganetenna due to a protest march in Mawanella by residents of the area.

The protest has been carried out  due to the negligence of local authoritarians,  who have not repaired several areas of the main road in Ganetenna causing severe hindrances to residents of the area.

It was also reported that Minister Kabir Hashim has been informed of the dilapidated road and that no response was provided to the written request sent to him to repair the road.

Motorists  are advised  to use alternate routes.
